Tom is the Founder and Managing Director of Technology Connect.

With 15+ years of executive management experience in helping companies digitally transform and scale their businesses through better, faster and smarter use of emerging technology and optimising value from ecosystems, he is a trusted advisor to business and technology executives and senior management teams. He has deep expertise in guiding medium and large organisations on aligning business and technology strategies, designing operating models, investment road maps and building digital capacity to thrive in an AI and data-driven market. Across all areas of IT, including cloud-based solutions and services, he has extensive experience in accelerated cost-out initiatives to free-up capital for re-investment in new digital platforms and transformation of operating models to maximise return on investment and create a sustainable competitive advantage. Tom has a passion for technology-driven innovation and helping teams reimagine how to exponentially grow their businesses by leveraging new and converging technology solutions and digital practices.

Tom has worked with companies across many industries including Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Wealth and Superannuation), Media & Entertainment, Health, Construction & Engineering and Government (Federal and State), and he has advised clients in multiple countries outside of Australia, including USA, UK, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and New Zealand.

Tom has held senior executive positions at Strategy& / PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Fujitsu Consulting and Gartner Consulting. Tom started his career as a Consultant with McKinsey & Co in Scandinavia.

He is fluent in English, Danish and conversational in Norwegian and Swedish. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, photography, football (soccer), sailing and surfing.
